Gratitude

Hello dear readers.

First of all, let me say a big THANK YOU to all of those who read my blog and give me support. I got some great responses from friends online, which gives me a bit more positive energy to keep rebuilding my dreams.

Thank you.

In gratitude, I went through my dad's journals to find an interesting story to tell.
Hope you like it

What follow are several accounts throughout November 1983 all related to the same incident. I have edited a bit to save time and space but don't worry, all the best parts are here.

It reads:

"The weather has started to change as predicted, if that is at all possible, predicting it. I have decided to accept indoor investigations only from now on, unless something extraordinary presents itself. Mrs. Hendrick's request for an overnight at her farm will have to wait until the warmer days of March. They are not visiting the farm this Christmas, apparently, which takes away any remorse over my decision.

My lovely wife has had an interesting dream, where a tall figure of a man is taking pictures of his family through a mirror, instead of pointing his camera at them directly. I have stayed up for the last two nights to make sure there are no entities roaming about our house.

We received a phone call from Mrs. Potts from number 68, down the road. She has heard from other neighbours of the work I do and has invited us for tea tomorrow. I can only guess at the nature of her problem.

We have been to Mrs. Potts' house and apparently they are suffering some sort of family haunting, where an entity keeps following a family even when they move houses. I have heard of very few similar cases, so I did not hesitate to accept the challenge. I will start my baseline readings tomorrow evening.

First evening of readings at the Potts' house. Nothing much to tell other than a fox prowling their back garden. Got my baseline information to start investigating.
Second evening of readings. Have established some reoccurring change of atmosphere in the kitchen. Must look into it tomorrow.
Have just returned from the Potts' place with a headache and some proof they do have an entity in their house and it was not happy with my presence. My hunch of the kitchen being the centre of activity seemed to be correct.
Before I started my fourth evening Mr. Potts asked me for some visual proof of their haunting. I then returned home for my VHS camcorder and stills camera. There were signs of a presence but nothing was captured on either media. Mrs. Potts mentioned the one location in the kitchen where she could see the entity, which was a tall man. My wife's dream came to mind.
On my sixth night, I set up my Polaroid to take several pictures of the same spot in the kitchen, which brought us no result.
I brought Mrs. Cason up to speed on the investigation and she reminded me of the one weird detail from her dream: the mirror. Must try that tomorrow.
Have tried taking several pictures with my Polaroid, through the mirror this time. There were smudges in the image, always in the same spot. The area where it happened was supposed to be lighter than the rest of the image, instead it was darker. The Potts are now satisfied of the proof they hold and have asked me to perform an exorcism the next night.
As I arrived in the house the next day, all readings were different and there was no sign of anything in the house. I told them the talk of exorcism must have scared it away and they accepted it as the end of their problem, at least until it comes back for more. I will be waiting. Mrs Potts gave me a beautiful picture frame in gratitude for my work. Nice gesture, albeit unnecessary. I treasure simple cases such as this ever so often."

There you go, peeps. Hope it was entertaining enough, it certainly gives some insight on how my dad works. I remember the entity did come back, but the couple were about to move out to a retirement home and did not want to take any action.

Oh, and guys, I remember once my dad telling Mrs. Hendrick's farm story. I will find it and post it. It's one of those you can't miss.

Until my next blog,

Love,

Miles

Hello dear readers,

It has been a long time since my last post. I assure you it's no coincidence that it has been the same time since my last investigation.

As I mentioned on a post last year, we were dealing with Lawyers and Accountants and I tell you, Demons have nothing on these people. I rather spend a night locked in a haunted mansion with an angry Demon and a bunch of ghosts than one minute in the presence of another lawyer.

I've spent most of 2009 fighting against those characters and they do not fight fair. By the end of last Summer my limited company was closed, my book was taken away and I was broke. I had to seek employment during one of the worst recessions to hit our country. Not easy. I got myself a job at a fast-food restaurant and had to stop my investigations for lack of money and free time.
So far so grim.
Finally, shortly before the end of 2009, we got our Court appointment to bring the lawyers and the accountant to face justice. After hours of me and this great public lawyer telling stories to the Judge, the Court saw in our favor. Seems I tell a good story, according to the Judge.

It will take some time for us to get back on track, so I'll be flipping burgers for a while still, but soon I'll be able to resume my investigation work.

I can't tell you all how much this affects me, how much even my mood has changed, knowing that I will be back in business soon.

I wanna leave here my personal guarantee that I will post more updates on everything that goes on and also publish some more of my dad's stories.

Thanks for the support I have received from friends and Facebook peeps.

God bless everyone,

Miles Cason
