It's my Father's birthday today, he is 58 today.....Happy Birthday Dad!

For those of you who don't really know me, my father is my best friend, always has been and always will be. Not only has he made me the person I am today, but regardless of any situation, he has always been there for me and I believe that he always will be. As you know from my previous post, he introduced me to the spiritual world and taught me a lot about our known history and the history that not everyone is taught. One of my favorite discussions with him was about Hitler and his relationship with the occult. As everyone knows, Hitler was obsessed with the occult, he used to send out teams of Archaeologists to find occult items. This is about as much as most history classes will teach you. The truth is, Hitlers obsession went further and deeper. He hired "Mediums" to talk to the dead, and strongly believed that he would return fifty years after his death to haunt mankind in its last years. He talked for hours on end to the spirit of his mother, and long forgotten brother about his own actions in the war.

My Father loves to talk, and will go on for lengths about most things, this is what makes him who he is.

So now you know a little about my past, what about the present.

Currently I work in Borders, the book shop. It's a pretty awesome job, I love to read. I am also looking to start visiting some places that are supposedly Haunted, without my parents, which I have never done.

My mum is freaking out about it, keeps telling me that I have to make sure I do not go unprotected, my dad is happy to see that I am willing to venture further and hopes to someday join me. I don't really want to go on my own, so if anyone would be interested in joining me, that would be great, but this is serious, I am not going to have a laugh, I am going simply to see if these places are haunted. I will be taking some equipment with me to try and pick up anything, mainly a camcorder and a sound recorder to try and pick up EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena).

My first Visit will be to West Park Hospital, located near Epsom Common sometime in June. I have to do a little more research as the building is Abandoned and I am trying to get permission to enter.

If you would like to join me, please email me at cason99@googlemail.com or comment here.

If you don't join me, I will be posting my adventure here and maybe a little Video BLOG. Also I'll send around stuff on YouTube.

So what is in store for Miles Cason in the future?

Well I really look forward to making some good friends online and go visit some Haunted UK places, including the Tower of London. All of which I will record here.

Until next post.

Happy Birthday Dad.

So here it goes....

So here we go, my first words onto my new Blog. I used to have a live Journal once, but never really kept it up to date. I'm pretty new to this whole blog thing, I have read tons of them, some of them good, some of them great, but I have never really found the time, nor the inspiration to do one myself, until now.

What I really want to achieve with this Blog is to help you understand who I am, and maybe invite you into my strange yet seemingly average life.

I am Miles Cason, at least, for the moment. I was schooled in a very average scholastic manner, had average grades, not had much of a sex life and my parents never beat on me, not once. The one thing that my parents did do though, was show me things about the world that we ignore. I am, of course talking about the world of the Paranormal, the world beyond our own. At age five I encountered my first apparition. It was the spirit of an old man who had died on the site where the British Museum is.

My father has worked in the museum for thirty-five years as a historian. He has believed in the spiritual world all his life and first saw the spirit of the man within his first week of working there. He saw the man every evening since then. My mother, a woman brought up in a very religious manner, was also a believer, but was terrified.

My father had taken me to the museum on that fateful night in 1985, to scare the shit out of me, but to also make sure that I began to understand that there was more to this world than meets the eye, and that I grow up knowing what I know now.

I have had several spiritual encounters since, and have spent many weekends away with my parents at supposed Haunted places around the globe, looking for evidence and trying to make contact.

I will post some videos up soon of what I have seen, as I am considering a Video blog of my adventures. Stay tuned.

Miles.
